Turbo Trans Turisti, Nonnui, The Keeymen and Đoko are set to rock INmusic festival #18!

The lineup of INmusic festival #18 has become even richer with four exciting new acts. Turbo Trans Turisti, Nonnui, The Keeymen and Đoko will bring their distinctive live performances to the festival audience. From raw pop and rebellious post-punk to surf rock and synthpop nostalgia, these four bands offer a cross-section of some of the most exciting regional and European acts that have been attracting increasing attention from audiences and critics alike in recent years.

Belgrade-based alternative pop band Turbo Trans Turisti was founded by brothers Nikola and Boško Mijušković in 2017, in a family bedroom that also served as a recording studio for their earliest releases. It was there that the albums “Levo ili Desno” and “Ništa Nije Strašno” were created, as well as the energetic live album “Šta bre? Kontrolisani Haos! Kome Treba Kontrola?”. Their latest release, “Važan i Veliki”, marks a significant step forward in both the band’s sound and artistic development. Over the years, Turbo Trans Turisti have performed at numerous showcase festivals including ESNS, MENT, Tallinn Music Week and Poland Music Week, while their concerts have become synonymous with intense emotion, honesty and almost uninterrupted energy on stage.

Arriving from the Netherlands, Nonnui is an all-girl band using its voice as an outlet for the frustrations of a generation trapped in the routine of the modern working system. Their sound and performances are raw, loud and direct, openly addressing exhausting jobs, social pressures and feelings of alienation through their lyrics and stage presence. Nonnui does not hide its rebellion — on the contrary, the band transforms it into an infectious live explosion that invites audiences to break free from social expectations and the monotony of “9 to 5” life. Their performances carry a strong DIY aesthetic and an unpredictable atmosphere in which frustration becomes a shared experience of resistance and fun.

Hungarian instrumental surf rock band The Keeymen was formed in 2013 as an experimental project, but quickly evolved into one of the most recognizable names on the Budapest live music scene. The band is known for its unique blend of classic surf rock elements and musical motifs inspired by Central and Eastern European heritage, creating a distinctive and atmospheric instrumental sound. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2017, opened the doors to numerous clubs and festivals across Hungary, while the follow-up album “2”, released at the end of 2021, further cemented their status on the regional scene. In recent years, the band has increasingly expanded its activities beyond Hungary, with ambitions of presenting its music to international audiences.

Slovenian band Đoko from Maribor brings together elements of new wave, synthpop and post-punk inspired by the music of the 1980s and 1990s. Their recognizable “pink-tinted” sound is built around melodic synthesizers, electronic drums, guitars and melancholic lyrics dealing with mental health, everyday relationships and the realities of modern life. Since 2022, they have released a series of acclaimed singles including “Puli”, “Blok 22”, “Val” and “Šećer”, while their debut album “To ti vračam, tvoje je” was voted Album of the Year by Radio Terminal listeners. They continued building momentum with the singles “VSE OK” and “ZAUVIJEK”, receiving growing support from both radio stations and audiences. In a short period of time, Đoko have established a strong live presence, performing in clubs and at festivals.

Turbo Trans Turisti, Nonnui, The Keeymen and Đoko are the latest additions to the impressive INmusic festival #18 lineup. Gorillaz, Jack White, Kings of Leon, IDLES, The Flaming Lips, Manic Street Preachers, Jehnny Beth, Fat Dog, Sprints, KT Tunstall, Yonaka, Dry Cleaning, Joshua Idehen and many more will help celebrate the 20th anniversary of Croatia’s biggest open-air festival.
