Jehnny Beth
Jehnny Beth, one of the most striking and expressive voices of today’s alternative music scene, joins the lineup of INmusic Festival #18, bringing her intense presence and creative energy to Zagreb in the festival’s 20th anniversary year.
Beth first gained international attention as the frontwoman of Savages, the Mercury Prize–nominated post-punk band known for its powerful live shows and sharp, minimalist sound. Her solo debut “To Love Is To Live” (2020) pushed her music in a new direction — cinematic, emotional and bold — and confirmed her as an artist who constantly evolves. Over the years, Jehnny Beth has collaborated with artists such as IDLES, Gorillaz, Sextile, and Bobby Gillespie, while also building a strong acting career with roles in Jacques Audiard’s “Paris, 13th District” and Justine Triet’s “Anatomy of a Fall”, winner of the Palme d’Or and an Oscar. In 2020, she also created the TV series “ECHOES”, where she introduced audiences to rising artists including Wet Leg, Fontaines D.C., and Kneecap.
In recent years, she returned to the stage with renewed energy — performing with IDLES, touring Europe with Depeche Mode, and joining Queens of the Stone Age across the U.S., where the intensity of hardcore and metal festivals inspired a new creative chapter. Working again with longtime collaborator Johnny Hostile, she began shaping her upcoming album “You Heartbreaker, You”, a raw and emotional record driven by instinct, rebellion, and a desire for freedom.
