Ivan Grobenski

A particularly distinctive place on the regional music scene belongs to Ivan Grobenski, an artist recognized for constant transformation and fearless exploration of new musical forms. From his earlier art-core beginnings with the band Moskau to his recent solo work, Grobenski has developed an opus that seamlessly merges traditional music, indie, soul, electronica, and hip-hop. With Siromahi i Lazari, he reinterpreted traditional music from the Podravina region through a contemporary artistic lens, while albums Apocalipstick and Kink further expanded his sound into more experimental and genre-fluid territory. His work has been recognized through multiple nominations for the Rock&Off, Porin, and ELECTOR awards. His latest release, ELECTRAW Session (2025), further emphasizes his powerful live presence and charisma, confirming Grobenski as one of the most intriguing figures of the Croatian independent scene.
