The Legendary Shack Shakers

The Legendary Shack Shakers

An exciting blend of southern-gothic, rock’n’roll, rockabilly, blues and country – that’s probably the best way to describe the unique sound of Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers. Formed in the 1990s in Kentucky and led by the charismatic front man JD Wilkes, Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers have taken Nashville’s hectic music scene by storm and the music magazine Scene titled JD Wilkes as Nashville's Best Frontman, which speaks volumes considering the competition in Nashville.

Their debut album Cockadoodledon't was released in 2002 followed by Believe (2004), Pandeliruim (2006), Swampblood (2007), Agri-Dustrial (2010) and The Southern Surreal (2015).
Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers are known for their extensive touring and exciting shows and supported on tour some of the biggest music names around, like The Black Keys, Rancid, Hank Williams III, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club and even the great Robert Plant who named their 2005 album Believe as one of his personal favourites of that year.

Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers will rock the audience at the twelfth edition of INmusic festival along with other spectacular performers – Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Alt-J, Kasabian, Michael Kiwanuka, Flogging Molly, Slaves, Booka Shade, The Strange, Kel Assouf, Public Service Broadcasting, and many more!
