Swedish music forces at INmusic #11!

New names are added to INmusic festival's lineup! All of them are coming from Sweden: A Knockout Angle, Alpaka, Anikee, Blomba, DDR Space Program , DJ Kimazo, Huanastone, Joe & The Anchor, Kill The Kong, Kinetics, Kmodi & Lerk, Scarabé, Sleepwulf i Stereosouls! In order to provide common support to the development of music culture and education, this year INmusic continues the partnership with Swedish association Studiefrämjandet.
INmusic festival welcomes Swedish performers in association with Sweden largest study association for adultsStudiefrämjandet and Embassy of Sweden in Zagreb.
Studiefrämjandet hasa strong commitment to socially and culturally disadvantaged groups in society and to groups with special needs such as immigrants, disabled people and the unemployed. In many places they've run special projects with these groups, sometimes at the request of local government or government agencies. The overall goal is to give people the opportunity to increase their participation in society and to provide tools for self development and life-long learning in order to maintain a high educational standard and to strengthen and protect a democratic society.There is a strong focus on activities for young adults, especially popular music, role-playing, dance and theatre and music accounts for almost half of everything they do so cooperation with Croatian INmusic festival isa mutual pleasure.

Swedish bands and DJ will come up on the stage called 'Balkan goes North' and DJ's will heat up the vibe at Hidden stage.
It will be unforgettable experience both for the performers and festival crowd.

Anikee – A Swedish Indie-Pop-Electronica music project with songwriter Martin Johansson, known from Swedish Alternative Rock-act”Gaia”. Martin will, this time, be accompanied by drummer Daniel ”Dala” Holmberg, known from the Swedish music scene with acts like ”Paulie Pecker” (Metal/Hardcore) and ”Nackskott” (Old School Hardcore).
DDR Space Program - was born in 2015 in Stockholm by Daniel when he discovered the power of synthesizers. The chairman of the space program promise you lots of italo/spacesynth music.
DJ Kimazo is a dj from Sweden. He is described as one of the best in his home town in Sweden.. During their travels, he has been around in many of Sweden's various nightclubs and warm up on a variety of artists such as Garmiani. John de Sohn , Broiler , and many others.
Joe & The Anchor - Although formed during the electric-house era of the 2010's, Joe & the Anchor draw their inspiration from a multitude of genres, including indie rock, shogaze and brit-pop. They have been compared to artists such as Foo Fighters, Editors, Radiohead and The National, among others.
Kinetics is a Swedish pop band formed in Växjo in the south of Sweden in 2010. The band consists of David Schagerström, Jesper Petersson, Daniel Jakobsson, Isak Ekrot and Fredrik Solfors. Their music combines traditional song writing and instrumentation with electronica elements and loops, creating lush, multil-layered arrangements backed up by harmonious vocals. Their songs span from soothing, melancholic songs to energetic power pop and larger-than - life anthems, all with well thought out, metaphorical and colourful lyrics. Kinetics released their debut album ”To each their own” in 2012 and their critically acclaimed follow-up ”EP” 2015 which gained a huge response from blogs and media. In 2015 they won the Pure M awards for best international act.
Sleepwulf is the band with focus on the old school, groovy, hard rock. Inspired by legends like both Sabbath and Zeppelin but with a modern twist. Sleepwulf is rock, drenched in riffs with its heart from the 70's.
A Knockout Angle is a poppunk band consisting of five members who got together in late 2012 in Sweden. They released their debut album "People are like stupid and stuff" in 2014. Last Christmas they released their latest single "Local Bar".
Alpaka - the Swedish band ALPAKA, rooted in hard rock and influenced by ambient, electronic and alternative music they bring you some of
the most formidable sound waves heard in years, whilst always staying true to their origins in space and time.
Blomba - Some people describe the band's sound as modern indie meets the 80's electronica, others claim that it passes as retro-futuristic rock music. BLOMBA is one of Sweden's hottest emerging bands who now is ready to take on Inmusic Festival. In their incredibly broad repertoire mixes catchy melodies, law-breaking harmonies and experimental rhythms to a delightful potpourri, which allows BLOMBA to stop on a life-long visit in every spectator's heart.
Huanastone - Formed in 2012, has been delivering songs with heartfelt lyrics, hard-hitting soulful rhythms and ominous heavy riffs reminding you of grunge from The 90's and the heavy rock coming out in The 70's.
Performing at various surf parties and mini-tours in and around Sweden. With their new self-titled EP, recorded live in an abandoned school building from The 19th century in The deep woods of Sweden, they hand you music that move your body as well as your mind
Kill the kong - Metal from Sweden. The band consists of seven members and with percussion and two vocalists they create a versatile sound that stand out from the masses.Influenced by bands such as: Architects, Parkway Drive, As I Lay Dying, Stray from the Path and Underoath.
Scarabé​ - Together, we explore and expand the potentials of heavy sound. We track the Sahara, Himalayan temples and the troll-forest in search for new threads to knit into our vibrational fabric. Each mysterious heavy riff invoked invites the listener to be hypnotized into a place in which feathered serpents dance and where tales beyond time and space unfold. Scarabé is heavy experimental music that is forged from the desire to intertwine the contemporary with the ancient and the yet unexplored.
Stereosouls - Like a shotgun blast from the sun, Stereosouls from Sweden are a fresh breath in today’s modern rock. Steresouls is a quartet of guitar, bass, drums and keys and four vocals. The music is Rock ’n soul; pure energy mixed with beautiful harmonies and four very talented musicians.
Kmodi & Lerk - the dj-crew that have without mercy taken over Stockholm and continues to do so with the rest of the world. They enjoy every second behind the decks as they are infront and delivers a mixture of different electronical styles, old and new school inspired sounds, with heavy rhythms and styles that don't even needs to be defined!

INmusic festival #11 will be held from June 20th to June 22nd 2016 in Zagreb, Croatia at the well-known and stunning location - the lovely isles of lake Jarun.
