Monohrom, Vagina Corporation, and balans are the latest additions to the INmusic festival #17 lineup!

Monohrom, Vagina Corporation, and balans bring their edge and originality to the already impressive lineup of the seventeenth edition of INmusic festival!

Monohrom, the indie rock band known for their electrifying sound and bold lyrical themes, is set to take the stage to promote their newest album ‘Radio tišina’. Formed in 2016, the band has often been described as ‘The Beatles, but with amps turned all the way up’, blending nostalgic melodies with raw energy. Following the success of their previous albums ‘Monohrom’ (2016) and ‘Urbana usamljenost’ (2021), the band’s third release, ‘Radio tišina’ (2025), dives deep into the chaos of the modern world, pairing gritty guitar riffs with lyrics about isolation, noise, and life in the 21st century.

Vagina Corporation, emerging from the industrial backdrop of Skopje, transforms urban desolation into raw, expressive sound, often described as a fusion of krautrock, Americana, and psychedelia – or simply KRAP. Driven by the unsettling realities of modern life and the suffocating urban sprawl of their hometown, the band delivers a powerful mix of angular guitar riffs and shifting dynamics that lead audiences into a whirlwind of emotion – chaotic, furious, yet hopeful. Initially launched as a solo project by frontman Luka Jovanoski in 2021, Vagina Corporation quickly evolved into a full band by 2023. Their explosive live performances broke down the usual walls between stage and crowd, turning concerts into shared experiences of catharsis.

balans, the Slovenian art punk duo formed in 2013 by Andrej Pervanje and Kristin Čona, is celebrated for their raw, minimalist sound laced with whimsical charm. Blending stripped-down post-punk with deeply personal lyrics, the duo also embraces a bold visual identity through collaborations with artists, fashion designers, and photographers. Their latest album, ‘nima smisla’ (Slovenian for ‘makes no sense’, ‘whatever’), pushes the boundaries of their signature bunkerpop aesthetic. With sharper edges, unapologetic sincerity, and a newfound intensity, balans presents their most compelling release to date — a vivid reflection of their outsider spirit and fearless creative evolution.

Monohrom, Vagina Corporation, and balans will perform at this seventeenth edition of the festival alongside a stellar lineup of acclaimed international and regional acts, including Kings of Leon, Massive Attack, Air, Fontaines D.C., Foster the People, Michael Kiwanuka, St. Vincent, Kim Deal, The Streets, Yard Act, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, The Murder Capital, Press Club, YARD, Sailor Honeymoon, The Pill, MAQUINA., Mitsune, KOIKOI, Neven, Škofja Loka, and many more.
