First Campers Arrive at Jarun: Everything is Ready for the Anniversary Edition of INmusic Festival

From June 22nd to 24th, Zagreb will once again become the epicenter of the global music scene with the exceptional and rich program of INmusic festival #18, which is set to gather tens of thousands of visitors from Croatia and all over the world. Marking the 20th anniversary of INmusic festival, the organizers proudly confirm that everything is ready for three days of top-tier music, a unique festival atmosphere, and numerous additional activities on the Jarun islands.

The festival campsite opened its doors this morning, and the first campers are already arriving from numerous European and international countries. Over the coming days, thousands of visitors are expected to arrive, eager to experience one of the most anticipated music events of the year. The festival gates will open on Monday, June 22nd, at 4:30 PM, officially marking the beginning of the three-day musical spectacle at Jarun.

Below is the essential information for a carefree festival experience and the smoothest possible stay at Jarun.

The Jarun Sports and Recreation Center (RSC Jarun) is a pedestrian zone, and vehicular entry is strictly prohibited. Therefore, all visitors are advised to arrive via public transport or bicycle. In addition to regular tram and bus lines, and in cooperation with the City of Zagreb, an extended bus line 113 has been provided for the duration of the festival to provide extra support to the regular public transport schedule. ZET bus line 113 will operate from the Ljubljanica turnaround, enter Jarun at the Hrgovići entrance, circle Jarun to drop off the audience directly in front of the festival entrance, and then continue its route back to the Ljubljanica turnaround, exiting Jarun at Hrgovići. The bus will run every 15 minutes from 4:00 PM to 5:00 AM on each festival day, ensuring all visitors can return from the festival using public transport. A large number of new bicycle racks have also been installed in front of the festival entrance for visitors, and more information regarding safety restrictions can be found on the official INmusic festival website.

Due to the sunny weather forecast and multiple inquiries regarding sun and insect protection products, we would like to remind visitors of the permitted items. Sunscreens and insect repellents are allowed into the festival only in plastic packaging up to 100 ml in volume (including plastic spray bottles with pumps). Pressurized containers (aerosols), stick packaging, and protection products in plastic containers exceeding 100 ml are strictly prohibited.

This year, INmusic festival continues to provide tailored infrastructure for persons with disabilities and reduced mobility. Opposite the main stage, there is an accessible platform for persons with disabilities, as well as a grandstand with seating for people with limited mobility, including elderly visitors and pregnant women. The festival grounds and campsite have been adapted to ensure the most accessible and safe festival experience for all attendees.

To keep all visitors refreshed during their stay on the Jarun islands, two drinking fountains with free potable water will be available within the festival grounds. Due to safety requirements set by the artists and for the protection of the audience, all drinks at the festival will be served exclusively in cups or open containers. This practice is standard at major international festivals to further enhance the safety of all visitors and performers, removing the potential use of closed bottles and similar objects as hazardous items.

This year's edition also brings an expansion of infrastructure capacities for visitors. Located opposite the main stage is an upgraded restroom facility with standard flush toilets and sinks with running water. This will ensure greater comfort and higher service standards for a symbolic fee dedicated to maintaining the temporary sanitary infrastructure.

In addition to the existing contactless festival payment system via festival wristbands, this year introduces a major update – direct payment with bank cards will be enabled at all points of sale within the festival. Festival wristbands can still be topped up at TOP-UP locations using either cash or bank cards.

All tickets must be exchanged for festival wristbands at the festival entrance. Visitors are kindly requested not to tear, cut, or damage their wristbands in any way, as doing so will render them invalid. Festival wristbands are valid for one entry per day. For security reasons, once you leave the festival grounds, re-entry with the same wristband is not possible until the start of the next festival day. This rule applies to the main festival entrance; however, the single-entry-per-day rule does not apply to camping wristbands, provided that the dedicated campsite entrances are used.

The organizers invite all visitors to check the festival rules and the list of permitted and prohibited items on the official festival website before arriving.

This year's program perfectly blends performances by global music stars with the festival's signature boutique atmosphere. On the first day, June 22nd, the audience can look forward to the highly anticipated Croatian debut of the legendary Jack White, alongside Manic Street Preachers, KT Tunstall, and many others. The second day of the festival is reserved for the long-awaited arrival of the cult virtual band Gorillaz, as well as The Flaming Lips, Sprints, Jehnny Beth, Any Young Mechanic, and many more. The festival schedule for Wednesday, June 24th, features the return of the crowd-favorite Kings of Leon to the Zagreb audience, alongside performances by IDLES, Dry Cleaning, Maria Iskariot, and many others. A detailed schedule of all artist performances is available on the official INmusic festival website.

Three-day festival tickets are available via the official INmusic webshop at a price of 159 EUR (+ transaction fees), while a limited number of single-day tickets are still available exclusively through the official festival webshop. Seven-day camping tickets are also on offer for 59 EUR (+ transaction fees), valid only in combination with a three-day festival ticket.
