Chui at Eurosonic 2017- Europe's biggest showcase festival!

The brilliant Chui, Croatia’s multi-talented instrumental jazz trio, are set to perform at Europe’s biggest showcase festival – Eurosonic 2017. After a mind-blowing performance at INmusic 2016 and a series of excellent concerts in the past year, Chui have been selected to represent the contemporary Croatian music scene to the European music professional’s network in Groningen in January 2017.

Eurosonic festival is part of the Eurosonic Noorderslag platform for connecting European musicians. The main goal of the festival is to help young musicians, who are trying to break into the international market, and at the same time, Eurosonic is without a doubt the most relevant music conference for professionals in the music industry. At the upcoming Eurosonic conference, the emphasis will be on music, innovation and media. The thirty-first edition of Eurosonic Noorderslag will take place from January 11th to January 16th , 2017 in Groningen, with an expected attendance of almost 4000 experts from the world of music and more than 300 performers including the Croatian trio Chui.
Instrumental electro - jazz trio Chui combines jazz with electronica, post-rock, jungle, funk and drum'n'bass, and the result is an extremely original musical mix. Their musical adventure began in 2012, with the release of their debut album simply called - "Chui". Two more successful albums followed “The Second Arrival” in 2013 and "Third Sun from the Stone" in 2015. All of their albums were extremely well received by critics and audiences alike and it became clear that Chui are here to stay. It is safe to say that Chui will come back from Groeningen with plenty of new fans and the doors to international success widely open.

Over the past six years, as part of the ETEP(European Talent Exchange Program) initiative by the Eurosonic Noorderslag Foundation, a related project focusing on the performers and musical partners from Eastern Central Europe has been implemented; INmusic festival was the official Croatian partner to this worthwhile project named CEETEP-in (Central Eastern European Talent Exchange Program) from the project’s inception. From 2016 INmusic is the Croatian partner of Eurosonic Nordeslag in the ETEP program as well and the Croatian partner of another very exciting and prominent new project, Europavox– a large, four year long collaborative project funded by the European Commission, carried out in partnership between seven European countries and focusing on European musical diversity. Through esteemed European projects and an extensive professional network, INmusic has been investing efforts in the promotion of young Croatian musicians and authors on the international music scene for years. The international reputation and relevance of INmusic festival was also recognized by the prestigious British music magazine NME, which listed INmusic festival as one of the 12 most popular festivals in the world.
