10 Swedish bands and 2 Swedish DJs to perform at INmusic festival

This year INmusic festival is very excited to welcome 12 Swedish performers in association with Sweden largest study association for adults Studiefrämjandet.

Studiefrämjandet has a strong commitment to socially and culturally disadvantaged groups in society and to groups with special needs such as immigrants, disabled people and the unemployed. In many places they've run special projects with these groups, sometimes at the request of local government or government agencies. The overall goal is to give people the opportunity to increase their participation in society and to provide tools for self development and life-long learning in order to maintain a high educational standard and to strengthen and protect a democratic society. There is a strong focus on activities for young adults, especially popular music, role-playing, dance and theatre and music accounts for almost half of everything they do so cooperation with Croatian INmusic festival was a mutual pleasure.

At the contest held earlier this year 10 bands and 2 DJ won a chance to participate at this years INmusic festival. Royal Prospect, Comminor, Among Souls, Northlight, Telephonehookers, John Bull Gang, Dum i huet, Charlie Harlow and Neweva, and two DJs Decaville i Antrox will come up on the stage called Balkan goes North and give the festival crowd unforgettable experience.

Royal Prospect is a rock band from southern Sweden and were founded in the fall of 2013 by two brothers, Oscar and Gustav Reingsdahl together with Hannes Tingfors and Hannes Pennsäter. They developed their own very unique sound and from the start also understood the great importance of having self-written songs. During autumn 2014 they went into the studio to record six of their songs for the upcoming debut EP "Watching Your World". This EP will be released on Spotify and Itunes sometime in the spring of 2015.
Comminor is a Punk Rock band so the music and the band’s live performances are filled with a weird and contagious energy that often seems to rub off on people and tends to create an exciting atmosphere to be in. Comminor are strong believers of what they do and the band has a strong conviction of never letting anyone else decide how they should be or what kind of music they should write and play.
Among Souls describes everyday life through their music, catchy pop-rock written with a soul. In a bright summer day or in the cold winter night, in the living room or in a festival, music with a soul will be with you anywhere you are. Among Souls released their first EP in 2013, and in 2015 their new ep where they keep transforming everyday life to great music.
Northlight is a Swedish rock band made out of four members and a great ambition to write music that truly touches people by their heart. Formed in the city of Karlstad back in 2012 North Light with song, guitar, piano, bass and drums writes music inspired by the pop and rock world, so if you like bands like U2, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, The Killers, you will also enjoy North Light.
Telephonehookers is a Rock'n'Roll Powertrio that has been together since 2008/2009. The band consists of two brothers, Calle and Rickard on guitar and bass, and their cousin Filip. Since their early childhood they have sat down around the record player and listened to the music. When they got old enough they decided to start playing for themselves, mixing genres like High Energy Rock'n'Roll, Punk and a bit of Powerpop. They are now in the studio recording their first album.
John Bull Gang was formed in a basement in 2012, when Carl Sjöqvist and Henrik "Bille" Rudenborg were hanging out and drinking some beers one evening. They were tired of the lack of good music on the radio and decided to create some sweet rock n' roll music. That very night, the song Gotta Get Time was written and recorded. They called an old friend, Daniel Carlén, and asked him to join the band and Anton Karlsson, the last member to join the band, was found in the raging crowd during their first show. Then and there he line-up was complete and their second album on the way.
Dum i huet can sloppily be translated to “Stupidheads”. Dum i huet plays new music with old instruments and older amps. The catchy melodies combined with exciting musical arrangements and the mad live show will not disappoint anyone.
Charlie Harlow is a band that formed in the winter of 2010/2011 in Gothenburg. The band consist of four close friends and that know each other through school. They say that they love to make music and also love music with a lot of emotion in it.
