Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall heads to INmusic Festival #18
Since the release of her breakthrough debut “Eye to the Telescope” in 2004, Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall has built a career defined by constant evolution, fearless creativity and unforgettable live performances. Featuring the hit “Suddenly I See” — named Best Song at the Ivor Novello Awards in 2006 — the album marked a defining moment of the 2000s. This summer, KT Tunstall brings two decades of music to INmusic Festival #18, joining the festival as it celebrates its own 20th anniversary.
KT Tunstall first captured global attention in 2004 with a now-legendary solo performance of “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” on Later… with Jools Holland, where she appeared armed only with a guitar, a loop pedal and a tambourine. Released in 2004, her debut “Eye to the Telescope” became a global success, selling over five million copies worldwide and ranking as the 51st best-selling album of the 2000s decade in the UK. The record produced enduring hits including “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See”, the latter winning the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song in 2006 and becoming synonymous with the film The Devil Wears Prada.
Over the years, Tunstall’s sound has continued to evolve — moving effortlessly between folk-pop, bluesy grit, guitar-driven rock and experimental electronic textures. Albums such as “Drastic Fantastic” (2007), “Tiger Suit” (2010) and the introspective “Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon” (2013) showcased her artistic range, while the ambitious “KIN”, “WAX”, “NUT” album trilogy (2016–2022) explored themes of soul, body and mind across three distinct records. Along the way, she has earned multiple BRIT Awards, Ivor Novello Awards, a Q Award, and a Grammy nomination, with total record sales estimated at over seven million worldwide.
KT Tunstall joins the already announced lineup for INmusic Festival #18 — the festival’s 18th edition and a celebration of its 20th anniversary — alongside Gorillaz, Jack White, Kings of Leon, IDLES, The Flaming Lips, Manic Street Preachers, Jehnny Beth, Fat Dog and Sprints, with more artists yet to be announced. INmusic Festival #18 will take place from 22 to 24 June 2026 at the Jarun islands in Zagreb. Three-day festival tickets are available via the official INmusic webshop for 139 € (+ transaction fees).
