Arieb Azhar’s story as a musician is a fascinating one. Having left Pakistan at the age of 19, he settled in Croatia for the next 13 years. 'Growing up, I went through several music phases,' he says. He was part of an Irish band in Croatia for five to six years and produced two albums of solely Irish music. However, there was something missing that didn’t quite feel complete. 'I was feeling a level of insincerity… I felt I got too caught up in the stardom aspect and strongly desired to reconnect with my roots. I just kept going to whatever was pulling me,' and finally he found himself back in Pakistan four years ago.
