Dry the River
Dry the River are an English folk rock band formed in London in 2009. The group initially consisted of Peter Liddle (vocals, guitar), Will Harvey (violin) and Jon Warren (drums); they were later joined by Matt Taylor (guitar) and Scott Miller (bass).
Since forming in Stratford in 2009, the band have toured extensively in the United Kingdom and Europe. After two EPs, and significant early radio support from BBC Introducing, the band signed to Transgressive Records in 2010. They released their debut single, "New Ceremony", in March 2011.
