CYPRESS HILL
Californian hip hop legends Cypress Hill are a new confirmed headliner at INmusic festival 2011. Six years since the release of their last album Till Death Do Us Part, Cypress Hill are back with a new album Rise Up, and will play INmusic on their summer tour.
Known for their stoned-funk sound, which became extremely influential in 90s hip-hop music and their endorsement of marijuana, Cypress Hill soon earned a status of rap superstars. The band is also notable for being the first latino group to have platinum and multi-platinum albums and one of the first rap groups to gain a following with fans of alternative and hard rock music.
Their highly anticipated eighth studio album, Rise Up, released in 2010, features contributions from Everlast, Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Daron Malakian (System of a Down), Pitbull, Marc Anthony and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park).
